MY STORY

How I started

My name is Maria - Franciszka Poburka, but you can call me Maria.

I've been passionate about caring and owning animals for almost all my life.

I am a qualified Small Animal Hydrotherapist.

Hydrotherapy helps orthopaedic injuries such as Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Arthritis, Spinal injuries, soft tissue and muscular injuries aswell as maintaining good health.

Having more of an understandment orthopaedic injuries, as well as being passionate for skin problems made me even more passionate to sell Dorwest Herbs. Having a dog myself with skin problems, Garlic and fenugreek tablets as well as mixed vegetables tablets help her maintain her skin and keeps her skin much less irritable.

I have also got a Diploma in Canine Studies, giving me more of an understandment of the dog.

I've grown up mainly with cats in our family household. I also done horse riding from the age of 8 until the age of 14 years old.

I started having an interest for hydrotherapy for small animals in 2009, where I worked as a Hydrotherapist Assistance.

I completed my qualification in 2012, and since, had a huge passion for helping small animals with orthopaedic injuries, such as hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, arthritis, spinal injuries, soft tissue and muscular injuries. I continued my career volunteering first at Mascott Hydrotherapy Centre in 2012 , then at Pet Health and Therapy Centre in 2013 where I worked for just over a year mainly as a hydrotherapist but also in the pet shop where I qualified for selling Dorwest Herbs.

Between Pet health and Therapy centre and Woodland Pet Care I worked at Otford Boarding kennels.

I am looking forward to getting orders and to give any help and advice for you and your beloved Animal.
